Recently, a hardworking dad has gone viral after doing the sweetest thing for his son.
A netizen named Edwin Bayson shares on Facebook, how he made the effort to only give his son something that he’s been asking for.
Tatay Edwin, 50, proudly shares how he was able to save up enough money so he can buy a phone for his 20-year-old son, Darwin.

(Congrats son, I really saved up for that for your graduation. I gave up a lot of alcohol, just so I can save up and buy you a cellphone that you have been asking for)

According to Tatay Edwin, whatever he earns from being a tricycle driver, is used to buy his son a cellphone.
(I used to be a truck porter, but I lost my job. That is why I tried to look for extra work)

He was able to save up for 4 months due to the enhanced Community quarantine.
Tatay Edwin used to earn PHP 150-200 per day before the lockdown, but now he earns as low as PHP 25-50.
In addition to this, Tatay Edwin shares that his son hasn’t owned a cellphone for 6 years now. And only uses Pisonet to surf the internet.
That’s why he told himself that he would save up, no matter how long it takes, just to buy a phone for his beloved son.
Tatay Edwin also reveals that his 20-year-old son Darwin enjoyed his gift for the graduation.
