Recently, a loving brother has gone viral after making a lovely ball gown for his sister.
On Facebook, netizen Maverick Francisco Oyao shared photos of the ball gown he made from scratch. The gown is for his sister to use at her JS Prom.
A lot of netizens are so impressed by his creation, that his post immediately went viral.
Furthermore, netizens are so amazed that he was able to pull it off, despite making a gown for the first time. Maverick also shared photos of his progress on Facebook.
The most impressive thing about this is Maverick is not even a fashion major. He is actually taking up Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education.
“I did not expect na magagawa ko to on time. I even doubted my self kung magagawa ko ba ‘to o hinde kasi naman diba iba ang concept sa ginagawa na. But God is really good. Di niya ako pinabayaan. At may isa na namang bunsong kapatid ang napasaya ni kuya,” Maverick said.
(I didn’t expect to make this on time. I even doubted myself if I can make this or not ’cause a concept is different from actually making it. But God is really good. He didn’t leave me. And now there is a baby sister made happy by big brother)
Moreover, Maverick also shared that the reason why he made the gown himself was because his parents could not afford renting one for his sister.
According to Maverick, the school requires the students to wear ball gowns for the JS Prom. And to make her sister happy, he researched about gown making on Youtube and took inspiration from famous fashion designer, Michael Cinco.
Fortunately, he was able to find affordable materials at a local shop.
