With the world being under a pandemic, the government is trying to make ends meet to help every citizen out there.
Of course, it is still impossible for them to help every single one of us, hence it is very lucky if you receive an aid from the government.
In the Philippines, local government units are tasked to help every community, especially the poorest of the poor.
But once in a while, we hear news about some people wasting their cash aids by not putting it to good use. Some people would rather spend the money buying illegal drugs or gambling.
However, one citizen was smart enough to use the cash aid he received wisely.
A tricycle driver from Barangay Culiat, Quezon City goes viral after using the cash aid he received from the government as a business capital.
Samad Maulanan received 2,000 PHP as cash aid from the government. And he used it to start a small barbecue business.
Since many people lost their jobs due to the lockdown, many are finding different ways to keep the income running.
From a capital of only 2,000 pesos, Maulanan now earns around 1,200 pesos a day.
As a result, netizens and celebrities alike are applauding the tricycle driver.
Some netizens even commented that people like Maulanan are the kind of people that deserved to get help.
