- A policeman in Cavite was shocked when Senator Manny Pacquiao gave him a big amount of money
- He only wanted to take a picture with Pacman as a souvenir
- As a result, he also bought some food distributed to his countrymen using the money
A policeman was so joyful and thankful today to see our Pambansang kamao. He just wanted to take a selfie with Senator Manny Pacquiao. However, the Pambasang Kamao surprised him by giving him a big amount of money.
The Facebook Post
In his Facebook post, P/Corporal Carlo Romero, who is assigned to the Cavite Provincial Police Office’s Operations and Management Unit, shared that he just wanted Pacman to be in the photo as a souvenir.
Sen. Manny went to Cavite on Friday, November 27, to distribute aid to the residents of Dasmariñas City. Policeman Romero was also one of those assigned to oversee the said event.
After the said event, the policeman approached Pacman to take a selfie but Romero was shocked by what Pambansang Kamao did after that.
(“I am in awe because after we take the picture, you suddenly give me the rest of the money you distributed and when I counted it, I was even more surprised,” said the police.)
(“All I really want is to take a picture with you, I don’t expect you to give me that amount,” Romero added.)
So as a token of gratitude, the police also use the money to buy food to redistribute to his poor countrymen.
(“So here it is, as a thank you, we have also use the amount you gave us some rice, canned food, coffee and noodles to distribute to our poor countrymen. I know there are many more who are in dire need than us, ”Romero said.)
Because of this, Romero extends his gratitude to the 8-time world boxing division titlist and Filipino boxing icon who is famous for being helpful to his countrymen even before he enters in the world of politics.
