One of the things nobody cannot take away from us is education. But, many people still are not able to go to school for two reasons. One is most people cannot afford them, the other is distance. Some schools are just too far for some people.
Just like if you live in rural areas, where you have to literally cross mountains and rivers to go somewhere.

Not everyone is blessed with a cement road. People in the rural areas have to come up with other ways to travel, just so they can get to their destination.
For instance, there are people who would cross rivers, just to get to school. However, they don’t have a boat, a bridge or even a raft to cross to the other side.

In Huoi Ha Village, Vietnam, parents have to put their children inside a huge plastic bag, just so they can cross the river and go to school.
As a matter of fact, they can only do this during the summer. As strong currents occur during the rainy season.

Because of their children’s willingness to learn, parents have no choice but to put them in a plastic bag so they can go to school safely.
However, this can be very dangerous for children due to the lack of oxygen inside the plastic bag. Hence, parents would swim with them to protect them against the strong currents.

And once they reach land, the kids would then walk to school.
