This friendship that developed between a pigeon and a chihuahua is truly special.
Lundy, a two-month-old Chihuahua, is having difficulty walking due to his spinal cord injury. When his breeder found out he cannot use his legs, Mia Foundation in New York took him in.

On the other hand, Herman, a flightless pigeon, who has been in the foundation some years, welcomed Lundy with open arms. Or wings.
Sue Rogers, founder and owner of the foundation, said their main goal is to take in animals who are born with birth defects.
According to Rogers, the two “started interacting immediately in a very cute way” when she put them on the same bed.

They have been inseparable ever since and enjoy spending time snuggled up on their favorite fuzzy blanket.
As of the moment, Lundy has to halt normal puppy activities due to his weight.
Good thing, Herman is there to keep him company while waiting for his wheelchair.

between a pigeon and a chihuahua is something really unique. Because they both lack something fundamental in their lives.
